Who we are

Konvert Werks runs konvertwerks.com and is responsible for the data on this page. Write to [email protected] about any of it.

What we collect, and why

• The contact form, and booking a call: your name (optional), email, store URL (optional) and message. We use them to reply and set up the call you asked for, and keep them as a record of the conversation.
• The store audit: a store URL and a work email, and anything you add after the scan (a name, a brand name, a revenue range, what feels broken). We fetch the store’s public pages, run a lab speed test and read Chrome’s field data, and save the results on a link you can reopen.
• Logs: your IP address, browser and the pages you open, which our server and Cloudflare record to keep the site running and secure, and keep for a short time.

For the form, a call and the audit, the legal basis is that you asked us to do it (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)); for the logs, our legitimate interest in a site that works and stays safe (Art. 6(1)(f)). Without an email we can’t reply, and you don’t have to give us anything else.

Cookies

The site sets a session cookie so forms work and can’t be forged, and, if you pick a country in the footer, a cookie that remembers it. On a page with a dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser. Cloudflare may set a cookie that tells people from bots. Each one is needed for something you asked for, so the site doesn’t ask for consent.

There’s no analytics, advertising pixel, third-party font or embedded video on this site. Our fonts are served from our own server.

Who handles it for us

• Hetzner Online (Germany): the server the site and its database run on.
• Cloudflare: the network in front of the site, its security, and encrypted backups.
• Zoho: our email.
• Google: the audit’s speed test (PageSpeed Insights and the Chrome UX Report). We send it the store’s public URL, never your email.

Each works under a data processing agreement with us. Where one handles data outside the EU, the transfer rests on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell your email or store URL.
• We don’t put you on a campaign calendar.
• We don’t add audit results to the sitemap. Those pages aren’t meant to be searched.

How long we keep it

Messages and audits stay so we can reopen a result or pick up the conversation, until you ask us to delete them. Logs are kept only for a short time.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, delete it, limit what we do with it or hand it over in a portable format, and you can object to our use of it. Email us from the address you gave us. If you’re in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.
